I am a software engineer with a history that ranges from the spaceflight industry to consumer handheld computers. I has also been a podcaster, working as post-production engineer with the the Conversations Network also a podcast and video field producer and production engineer with MousePlanet. And I have served my community for decades, volunteering in disaster and emergency preparedness and response, including five years with a mountain rescue team in Colorado.
Currently I work for the Temple University Library as a digital applications developer. Personally, I am focusing on studying technology and society and researching novel means people can move their content out of the hands of big technology companies and into distributed, self-hosted, and federated platforms.
I am also a voice over artist, specialzing in non-broadcast narration, such as audio books, industrial training, and education.
